The M.D.L. GT Series is a range of 105°C snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitors developed for high-temperature, high-ripple and high-reliability power applications.
High-temperature aluminum foil, electrolyte and related materials support stable operation from −40°C to +105°C. Its low impedance, high ripple-current capability and high capacitance make the series suitable for power amplifiers, switching power supplies, UPS systems, frequency converters and industrial power equipment.
M.D.L. GT Series 105°C Snap-in Terminal Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
The GT and GK Series share the same snap-in mounting format and general application areas. Their primary differences are the temperature rating and materials used in production.
The GT Series uses aluminum foil, high-temperature electrolyte, sealing materials and related components selected for 105°C operation. These higher-grade materials increase the manufacturing cost but provide greater thermal margin for equipment with higher internal temperatures, limited cooling or extended operating periods.
Low impedance and high ripple-current capability help reduce internal heating while supporting stable power filtering, energy storage and transient-current delivery. Snap-in terminals simplify PCB positioning and improve assembly efficiency.
