TG Series Axial Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors -40°C ~ +105°C

The M.D.L.® TG Series is a range of polarized axial aluminum electrolytic capacitors designed for high-temperature and high-reliability applications.

High-temperature aluminum foil, electrolyte and sealing materials support stable operation across a temperature range of −40°C to +105°C. With rated voltages from 6.3VDC to 500VDC, the series is suitable for power supplies, audio equipment, industrial controls, communication equipment and electronic products requiring greater thermal endurance.

The TG Series is developed for equipment with higher internal temperatures, limited cooling space or extended operating periods.

Compared with the 85°C series, the TG Series uses different grades of aluminum foil, a high-temperature electrolyte formulation and related materials. Although these materials increase the manufacturing cost, they provide greater thermal margin and help reduce the effect of heat on capacitance, dissipation, leakage current and service life.

Positive and negative leads extend from opposite ends of the capacitor body. This axial construction is suitable for horizontal circuit layouts, point-to-point wiring and replacement of existing axial capacitors. A broad selection of capacitance, voltage and case-size combinations supports flexible component selection.
