M.D.L. MET Series Metallized Polyester Film Capacitors, Non-Inductive
The M.D.L. MET Series uses high-quality metallized polyester film, non-inductive winding and OFC copper leads in an axial round tubular construction.
The series provides low loss, stable capacitance and good frequency characteristics for loudspeaker crossovers, car audio, home audio, filtering and general electronic circuits.
【Special Note】: We use OFC oxygen-free copper leads. Low-end MET capacitors on the market typically use aluminum or iron leads. All M.D.L. capacitors sold by our company use OFC oxygen-free copper leads. You can distinguish genuine products from counterfeit ones by scratching off the plating on the leads or using a magnet.
M.D.L. MET Series Metallized Polyester Film Capacitors
The MET, MEF, MEC and MER Series use the same metallized polyester film, lead materials and basic winding process. Their fundamental electrical characteristics are comparable. The primary differences are body shape, finishing method, lead configuration and mounting requirements—not performance grade.
The MET Series maintains its round tubular shape after winding without an additional flattening or box-encasing process. Leads extend from opposite ends, making it suitable for horizontal mounting, crossover-board layouts and point-to-point wiring.
Metallized polyester film provides practical body dimensions, broad capacitance coverage and dependable performance. It is particularly suitable for crossover networks requiring larger capacitance values within limited installation space.
